Brainwave-R: Cognitive Strategies and Techniques for Brain Injury Rehabilitation - Visual Processing

The Visual Processing module of the Brainwave-R program consists of a fully printable therapist workbook and client workbook that contains up to 4 weeks of exercises that involve the client working 1 to 2 hours a day, 5 days a week, with exercises aimed at optimizing functional skill development through education, training on basic cognitive skills, generalization, and strategy training. Metacognitive components to each exercise help develop awareness of deficits as well as self-monitoring and self-evaluation skills. The module is suited to individuals with moderate or mild disabilities but can be adapted for more severe disabilities.
